We are a husband and wife, author and illustrator team! With a shared passion for all things fuzzy and cute, the natural next step was making a series all about wooly worms! As children, we both saw and played with woolies, but as we grew up, we realized there's practically no media or merch for (in our opinion) the best bug ever! To correct this, we set out to make the world's sweetest, and fuzziest place: The Fuzzy Forest! Whether you're reading a book, scrolling the woolies social media, or making your own story with the plushies, the woolies are sure to transport you to happier and fuzzier place.
AI Policy
Do we use AI?
The Fuzzy Forest series and all books made by A Wooly World do not use artificial intelligence. All writing, illustrating, and editing for our books is done by humans for humans. Every fuzzy idea, wooly, and moment, scrunches straight from our hearts, to better touch yours. We hope the care we put into everything we make, is felt in every encounter you may have with us. Thank you for supporting The Fuzzy Forest and our "old-fashioned" ways.
Why does it matter?
Generative AI programs use pre-existing art to generate "new" images and pull from works across many different digital platforms. Current AI models do not obtain permission or compensate these artists for the commercial use of their works. AI "art" is a form of theft which negatively effects millions of people around the world. Because of this, and its harmful environmental effects, we do not support the use of AI.
