We are a husband and wife team who love wooly worms! They have always held a special place in our hearts and, in our opinions, don't get nearly enough attention. We wanted a world in which wooly worms were in more books and media. Our desire is to create a series of feel-good books that take you to a simpler place, The Fuzzy Forest.
Our Policy on AI
Our promise to you
The Fuzzy Forest series and all books made by A Wooly World do not use artificial intelligence. All ideas, writing, illustrating, and editing for our books is done by humans for humans. Our own ideas, efforts, and time go into each book you read and we guarantee it will always be that way.
Why does it matter?
AI programs use pre-existing art to generate "new" images and pull from works across many different digital platforms. Current AI models do not obtain permission or compensate these artists for the commercial use of their works. AI "art" is a form of theft which negatively effects millions of people across the world. Because of this, and its harmful environmental effects, we do not support the use of AI.
