We are a husband and wife team who love wooly worms! They have always held a special place in our hearts and, in our opinions, don't get nearly enough attention. We wanted a world in which wooly worms were in more books and media. Our desire is to create a series of feel-good books that take you to a simpler place, The Fuzzy Forest.
Our Policy on AI
Our promise to you
The Fuzzy Forest series and all books made by A Wooly World do not use artificial intelligence. All writing, illustrating, and editing for our books is done by humans for humans. Our own ideas, efforts, and time go into each book you read and we guarantee it will always be that way.
Why does it matter?
AI programs use pre-existing art to generate "new" images and pull from works across many different digital platforms. Current AI models do not obtain permission or compensate these artists for the commercial use of their works. AI "art" is a form of theft and effects millions of artists across the world, whether that be in music, literature, or visual arts. Because of that, we do not support the use of AI in art. We believe there is a place for AI and that it can be beneficial, but that place is not in the arts.
