Happy half-way through 2026!
Over the last six months, The Fuzzy Forest® has done several things, including: events, publishing new books, welcoming a new wooly plush, starting a mail club, and more! This blog post will give you a quick recap of how our year is going so far!
Books
The woolies have been going on different adventures all year, here's what they've been up to so far.
Scrunching All Clover
This spring, Wooly is determined to find a four-leaf clover. But as he searches, he discovers he's lucky in more ways than one.
Out for Delivery
Afraid of her potential diagnosis, Woolvery avoids going to the doctor. After hiding all day, her sickness catches up to her and she’s forced to get help.
Truth Chime
When Larry receives a noisy set of windchimes from his friend, Woolshall, he worries that telling him the truth will upset his feelings. Will Larry continue losing sleep from the noise, or tell Woolshall the truth?
A Fuzzy Affair
There’s a crime spree in The Fuzzy Forest and Woolvis is on the job. Will he find the fuzzy perpetrator, or will the case remain unsolved forever?
Moving Day
Woolkins doesn’t want to move out of his pumpkin. Despite his home beginning to fall apart, Woolkins is determined to repair things while his friends look for a new place for him to live.
Vacation Time
Woolcay loves when woolies take a vacation, including the woolies who are supposed to help her run the resort. Will she learn to let others help, or can she pull everything off by herself?
Events
In January, the woolies were invited to scrunch to Palmetto Florida for a Fuzzy Reading Festival. The event included an author/illustrator meet and greet, read-a-louds, and crafts all about the woolies (in a room themed to The Fuzzy Forest!). Visitors were able to make their own wooly, participate in a scavenger hunt, plant flowers, paint their own rocks, and so much more! We were so honored to be a part of this creative and fuzzy event put on by the Palmetto Branch Library and delighted to get the chance to go back on July 25th!

New Merch!
One of our favorite things to do is incorporate the woolies into our every day lives, that's why we're so excited to add these new fuzzy items to our store!
Woolia Plush
Woolia has arrived and officially joined Wooly and Woolums as a plush! Just like in the books, she is nearly twice the length of Wooly and just as soft and fuzzy as both of them.
Travel size woolies!
The woolies are now available in keychain form! There are currently 10 different woolies to choose from that can be attached to backpacks, keys, and more! Each wooly keychain is consistent with their book characters sizes which means Wooly is one of the smallest, and Woolsquatch is one of the largest!
Stickers
We added our first sticker (with more to come soon), so the woolies can scrunch onto your water bottle, computer, lunchbox, and more!
Print Club
In January, the woolies started their mail club. Since then, they've sent out hundreds of letters with stickers, prints, and heartfelt messages, giving readers a look into their daily life! The woolies have absolutely loved this project and look forward to continuing it the rest of this year.
